Tissue Suite is a tool for locating and marking a region of interest on FISH slides, followed by high-resolution digital scanning. With Tissue Match, pathologists locate and designate the region of interest on the slide for reviewing the exact area in FISH; the images are automatically overlaid. This ensures that a clinically relevant area is accurately analyzed by professionals in FISH.
It starts with a grid image of the slide stained with H\&E, followed by a grid image of the FISH slide in sequential order. Then, it aligns the tissue sample images from both complete slides, and when the technologist marks the region of interest on the H\&E slide, the system automatically marks the same area on the FISH slide. With the regions of interest well defined, the FISH slide is then digitally scanned in high resolution in the specific area chosen by the pathologists.
